Heddington Halloween 2023 was smashingly successful, with contributions to SickKids from so many wonderful friends, family and colleagues; and the generous donation (and installation) by Home Depot of the five massive animatronic characters that graced my lawn for this year’s event. Home Depot also donated a further five boxed characters for our online silent auction: all in support of SickKids. The media came out in force (yes, that was CTV’s helicopter circling Heddington on Halloween) resulting in over 10 million (yes, you read that right) audience impressions. Thanks to my neighbours, friends, and family (and there were a LOT of you) who helped out with this year’s event from start to finish. Thanks also to DJ Rob Cachia of Motion Sounds Entertainment for his inspiring sounds and to Dina Belaia for her fabulous face painting art. What a year, guys. What a year.
