Things were quite scary around Heddington on Halloween 2015 and so in 2016 the new, more small tykes friendly theme was ‘Finding Dory’. My front lawn was transformed into a veritable ocean full of creatures with the painting of Dory and Nemo right in the middle. Gerald the Sea Lion appeared in paper mâché form, pail in mouth. Our talented face paint artists turned us all into various sea creatures and our trick or treaters (plus many adults) dressed to theme too. I have to say my favourite was the umbrella jelly fish (dawned by an otherwise very serious family law lawyer) whose every movement had that undersea feel to it.
